The sitemap provides the foundation for any well-designed website, and building a website without one is like building a house without a blueprint. It helps give me an idea of the websites information architecture and how the various pages relate to each other.
After a sitemap has been established, I get started on a wireframe, a basic framework of how the websites content and design elements will be shown.
Once we have our framework, it’s time to get started on the content! This step requires you to put together all the written content needed for your website, as laid out in the wireframe.
This is also where you’ll send through any images or visual content you have available. This includes your company logos and brand colours. Don’t have a brand yet? I can help with that too!
This is where the fun begins - we’ll begin to design the website! You’ll be supplied a PDF proof of the main pages, and its here that we can discuss any changes you’d like to make.
In this step, the final design and layout has been approved and we can begin to build your website in Webflow. The length of this step also depends on the size of your site, but generally takes around 1-2 weeks. This step is also where we test the functionality and usability of the design and make changes accordingly, in order to have the best final product possible.
The website is approved and we can make it live! Time to celebrate and let your customers know about your beautiful new website!
